The
Anti-Terrorism Studies Institute (ATSins) was established on 2003 by a group
of researchers interested in Human Rights, humanistic Human Rights,
International Laws and International Affairs. This institute is to carry out
applied researches and studies about theoretical aspects of terrorism and its
impression on international interactions. Concentrating
on main issues such as Terrorism, Human Rights, humanistic Human Rights,
Peace, International Laws, Legitimate Defence and Security, ATSins aims to
challenge with all forms of terrorism; recognize the roots of its emergence;
recognize the reasons of brutality; review the approaches for fighting with
it; motivate humanistic activities; mobilize the capacities of popular
institutions and research centers to struggle with brutalities; and
institutionalize peace and security in all of the human societies. Certainly,
any study, research and activity on these widespread fields considering its
remarkable influence on different societies require both national and
international will. The main
programs of ATSins cover the followings: - Providing
comprehensive archives of various cultural, economic, political and social
issues pertaining to terrorism and its related fields in the form of books,
pictures, indexes, audio-video types, internal or foreign publications, etc; - Holding
topical seminars and meetings for discussion and debate; - Classifying
the findings resulted from executed researches; - Publishing the
said findings in the form of books, periodical magazines, topical reports,
etc; - Communicating
with different research centers inside and outside of the country; and - Communicating
with authors and researchers inside and outside of the country. |
